This Privacy Notice applies to Zodoo (the “App”), operated by Kok Singh Dhakar, or KV Enterprises, a sole proprietorship under Gajendra Dhakar, having its principal place of business at:

(collectively referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”).

This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use the Zodoo mobile application.

By installing or using the App, you confirm that you have read and accepted this Privacy Notice. If you do not agree with this Privacy Notice, please do not use the App.

1. Information Collection — Optional vs. Not Collected

Background Location

Zodoo does not request or collect background (continuous) location data.
The App does not access your location when it is closed or running in the background.
Any location access is foreground only and used only after you explicitly grant permission.

Optionally Collected Information (With Your Consent Only)

If you choose to enable certain features, the App may collect:

  • Account details (optional): Name, email address, delivery address (if saved by you).
  • Payment-related tokens (optional): Transaction identifiers or tokens required for payment processing via third-party gateways.
    We do not store card numbers or sensitive payment credentials.
  • Device & diagnostic data (optional): Device model, operating system version, app version, crash reports, and anonymized analytics to improve app performance.
  • Foreground location (optional): Used only while the App is open to enable delivery or map-related features. You may revoke this permission at any time.

The App will not collect additional personal data without clear notice and your explicit consent.

2. How We Use Information

Optional information is used strictly for legitimate purposes, including:

  • Creating and managing optional user accounts;
  • Processing orders and payments via third-party processors;
  • Delivering goods to addresses you provide;
  • Responding to customer support requests;
  • Improving and troubleshooting the App using anonymized data;
  • Sending transactional messages such as order confirmations or receipts;
  • Complying with legal obligations or lawful requests.

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

3. Permissions & Google Play Data Safety

The App requests only the minimum permissions required for features you choose to use.
If a feature does not require a permission, the App will not request it.

4. Third-Party Services & SDKs

We use trusted third-party services to support App functionality.

a. Phone Number & OTP Authentication

Used for secure login and identity verification.

  • Phone numbers and OTPs are processed only for authentication;
  • Phone numbers are not sold or shared with advertisers.

b. Payment Gateway SDKs

Used to process secure transactions.

  • Only transaction IDs or tokens are handled;
  • Card details are not stored by us;
  • Payment providers operate under their own privacy policies.

c. Firebase Services

Used for stability, analytics, and notifications:

  • firebase_messaging – push notifications
  • flutter_local_notifications – local alerts
  • firebase_analytics (optional) – anonymized usage data
  • firebase_core – core functionality

Firebase may collect technical information such as app version, device model, and crash logs.
No personal or location data is collected unless you explicitly provide it.

d. Location & Maps SDKs (Foreground Only)

Used only if you allow location access:

  • google_maps_flutter
  • geolocator

Background location is not collected.

e. General Flutter Libraries

Libraries such as connectivity_plus, shared_preferences, cached_network_image, lottie, http, vibration, etc., are used solely for UI and functionality and do not collect personal data.

5. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell personal data. Information may be shared only when necessary:

  • With payment processors to complete transactions;
  • With delivery partners to fulfill orders;
  • With hosting and cloud service providers;
  • When required by law or legal process.

All third parties are required to maintain appropriate data security standards.

6. Data Retention, Access & Deletion

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide services or meet legal obligations.

Upon account deletion or consent withdrawal, data will be deleted or anonymized unless legally required to retain it.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards such as encryption, secure storage, and access controls.
No system is completely secure; in case of a data breach, affected users and authorities will be notified as required by law.

You are responsible for safeguarding your device and login credentials.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 16 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect data from children. If such data is identified, it will be deleted promptly.

9. Changes to This Privacy Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice periodically.
The updated version will be indicated by a revised “Version” number. Continued use of the App signifies acceptance of changes.
